How do I dry my horse after rain or a wash?

Letting a wet horse dry properly is more important than many people realize. Whether it’s after a heavy rain shower or a thorough wash: a wet coat retains moisture. This causes a horse to cool down more quickly, increasing the risk of stiff muscles or respiratory issues.

The best approach is controlled, even drying. No drafts, no harsh hair dryers, but a constant airflow that gently allows moisture to evaporate from the coat.

Drying with the Q-Line Zephyr
