Vitafloor stal unit
Standard
The practical choice for safe and effective equine vibration therapy
For those looking for a safe and effective vibration plate for horses, the Vitafloor stable unit is the ideal choice. This model is designed with maximum freedom of movement in mind, allowing the horse to relax naturally during vibration therapy. Thanks to its smart design, constant supervision is not required – the horse experiences the benefits of Whole Body Vibration completely independently.
Free movement, safe training
The stable unit is often built into an existing or new stable and can be surrounded by low walls. This way, the horse does not need to be tied up, which promotes a natural resting posture and prevents stress. The optional airlift function – where one side of the floor is periodically raised – provides additional muscle stimulation. Internal studies show that this feature can improve muscle development by up to 30% compared to standard vibration plates.
A practical vibration plate for daily use
The Vitafloor stable unit is custom-made within the maximum dimensions of 2x3 or 4x3 meters, so it fits perfectly in your stable. Operation is simple: place the horse on the floor, start the program, and let the technology do the rest. With the automatic shut-off function, the system is not only easy to use but also safe. One unit can treat up to 20 horses per day – without requiring intensive labor.
Safe, maintenance-free, and proven effective
Users appreciate the Vitafloor not only for its results but also for its low maintenance and solid construction. This vibration plate is designed for years of reliable use. Whether it’s for muscle building, rehabilitation, or general wellness – the Vitafloor stable unit is a smart investment in your horse’s health.
What’s the difference between a Vitafloor with and without airlift?
Both systems provide powerful full-body vibrations that support recovery, blood circulation, and muscle development. But there is one key difference:
✅ With airlift (moving floor)
The floor has air cushions under the sides that raise briefly every 60 seconds. This results in:
Active weight distribution: The horse is stimulated to shift weight to all four legs, even at rest.
Simulated movement: The tilting motion activates more muscle groups – similar to how people engage more muscles on vibration plates when moving.
Improved effectiveness: Especially for rehab or muscle building, this provides deeper and faster results.
➡️ This version is more complex (air cushions, hoses, pump, extra electronics) and therefore more expensive, but many veterinarians are convinced of its added benefits for muscle development, stability, and core control.
🔲 Without airlift (fixed floor)
A stationary floor without moving parts, but with the same vibration technology.
Very suitable for general use, relaxation, or maintenance.
Simpler system, lower investment.
Slightly less muscle activation, since the horse is not prompted to stay actively engaged when resting.
Our experience:
About 50% of our customers choose the airlift version.
For new builds, we definitely recommend considering this option.
For existing boxes or limited budgets, the fixed version is also highly effective.

VDL Stud - Quality Always Wins
"VDL stud farm is responsible for more than 50 breeding stallions worldwide. Since 1972 our warmbloods and their offspring have been put to the test at the highest levels, and our horses have been taking part in the Olympics since 1996. In addition, our stallions are being successfully used by other studbooks. In our continued quest to improve our quality, we started using a Vitafloor in the beginning of 2022 in our European certified breeding station in Bears, The Netherlands. Our company slogan is “Quality wins the battle” and the use of the Vitafloor fits within this very well”.
